My Liebster Award Nomination

I was nominated by Culture and Couture to take part in the Liebster Award. I have seen a few of these around when I launched my blog and social media, and was very excited to be nominated and take part!

The rules are:

  • Answer all of the questions you were asked
  • Tag 11 people who have under 200 twitter followers
  • Create 11 new questions
  • Recognise who tagged you!

Here are the 11 questions I was asked:

What is your favourite food?

Pizza, I could eat it for the rest of my life. Unless it has mushrooms on – ew!

If you could be a biscuit, what kind would you be?

Probably a cookie, because I like them. I could eat a packet of Maryland cookies in one setting, no doubt! No idea what that ‘says’ about me!

What do you think is your biggest challenge in blogging?

Getting my content across to a wider audience. I want it to translate to several audiences.

What do you hope to achieve in the next year?

Travel to more places around the UK and also visit Ireland for the first time.

What is your favourite film/TV program?

My favourite TV show is Firefly. Joss Whedon and cowboys in space. What’s not to love!?

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?

Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter books. She is clever, caring, independent and incredibly brave. She is what every young girl should aspire to be.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Sarcastic. Nerd. Pragmatic.

What do you never leave home without?

My phone. I never thought I would be someone super attached to their phone, but I have to have it with me!

Which item in your wardrobe gets the most use?

My super comfy t-shirt with a seagull on I got from Brighton SEO conference last year.

What’s your favourite beauty product?

Probably has to be my Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. Essential!

If you could offer one piece of advice to a fellow blogger, what would it be?

Don’t give up, because hard work does pay off in the end.

Being More Environmentally Conscious in 2018

If you read my previous post about my goals for 2018, you will know one of them was to be more environmentally conscious in the future. This is something that has become more and more important to me as I have grown older, and with the global issues of climate change, I feel that even […]

Edinburgh For the Harry Potter Fan

Rowling moved to the Scottish city in the 1990s, and it was there she began writing the books that have become the worldwide phenomenon they are today. Eagle-eyed fans will be able to see that […]
